Romney spends big money

Rich man Mitt Romney, planning on running in the 2008 elections has been spending big money in early states recently. He is doing this to win over voters in states where there will be early voting. He is slowing growing in Iowa and New Hampshire, but it has been costly for him. He has raised 21 million dollars in donations and spent nearly all of it in the second quarter of 2007. This isn't looking good for him, his rival, Rudolph Guliani spend half that much in the second quarter of 2007 and he is doing just as well. Romney has already spend about 31.8 million dollars in the first half yer that he has been campaigning for presidency. Romney is spending money like crazy. Four years ago Bush raised 35 million and only spent 2.7 million and by the end of the second quarter 8 years ago Bush raised 37 million and only spent 7.2 million.

Romney is spending money like a madman and he better hope it pays off.

In my opinion i think that spending this much money is unecessary, but it shows that Romney really wants the position of presidency.

I don't think that he should be spending all this money. This money could go to a way better cause. But you are right, it does show how much he wants to win.

I think campaigns are way too costly these days. I recently read an article about a billionaire who spent his own funds that added up to around 20 million dollars during a past election. I strongly believe that better enforcement should be set to lower the amount of money a candidate can spend on campaigns. Government should set a stricter limit on campaign funds and it can hopefully give the candidates with low financial assistance chances in the election process.

I believe the actions of Reverend Frank Page would determine how he will spend our country's money as President. If he easily uses the funding of his campaign so abruptly without any hesitations, imagine what would he do to our nation's income?

I think it really does show how bad he wants the position as a president but he should have other ways to show that. If he uses so much money for him to campaign, maybe he would use a lot of the us money for something unnecessary too.

I believe that money isn't everything because there are many rich men who want to be President.
I hope that in this election there are many people who are sure that they can do good job if they become a President.
