Biden: We're Going to Shove Bush Veto Down His Throat

Senator Joseph Biden, a democratic presidential candidate in the 08 election, recently told a supporter that after President Bush vetoes the Iraq war funding legislation, "we're going to shove it down his throat." This was at an annual fish fry event on friday, where a question and answer session was being held with Biden. He was asked "When he vetoes the bill, what's going to be the next version of the bill you send him?" and replied with a threat towards the president.

I like how Senator Joseph Biden is so ready and confidant about this war ending. Enough is enough. War is not the answer. People are pretty fed up with this Iraq War.

I too like this person. He does seem unprofessional to be president. He also could turn out to be the best president.

I think basically so many people are fed up with the Iraq war and fed up with President Bush and his war policies. I didn't like how he was so straightforward and rude in his comment but it definitely caught the media's attention. I think while his comment made everyone privately happy, it did seem unprofessional for a presidential candidate to say.

I believe Biden would be liked by many people through his opinions of certain situations, but not best suited as the President. Although his thoughts may be supported by the large population who agree with him, his immaturity and disrespect would not qualify him as a capable President.

I like how Biden is being confident but I think that ensuring he will end the war is not enough to be a President. He should take action or something instead of just saying it because everybody knows that people want to end the war.

in my opinion biden is right. he is very confident about what he says and he would have much support from the citizens for his enthusiasm.

His actions of anti-war might be done to gain favor and popularity. I see confidence in himself talking about a bill passing the intention of President Bush.
