Impeach Bush

Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska wants to impeach President Bush. He is one of a group of lawmakers angered over war policy. He is calling for removal of Bush. Hagel is bothered by Bush's ignoring of congressional and public opinions. Hagel wishes to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq. Congress holds power to impeach the president.
The reason why I choose this article is because I strongly believe that war is not the solution. War brings death, destruction, and hate. The Iraq War has been drawn out far enough. It is time for our troops to finally come home, where they belong.

What's done is done. I don't approve of the war either, but we are in too deep and have poked the angry bear too much. Think of what the insurgents will do if we take out our own executive branch! It might take weaks or months for the vice to get firmly seated. By the then, the Iraqian radicals will have planned another attack. If we remember back to the Vietnam War, this pressure on the president was very similar. After we left, their government was taken over by the communists. Do we really want the Iraqians to be, once again, subjugated by the government?

How can Chuck Hagel consider running for president when he is so out step and touch with the wishes of the voters of Nebraska?

Chuck Hagel does not believe in representative government. His pro-amnesty vote in the well of the US Senate demonstrates that.

I do personally that Hagel has a point that we should not set a date of when to pull because we are not there in the situation ourselves. We need to leaave suuch a decision to the commanders on the ground because they have a better understanding of what is going on.

i agree with Hagel that they should remove BUsh but i also think that we shouldn't make him decide since he is not in a position of making such great decisions
